Today is one of the few times I envy Manhattan residents. As reported
in the New York Daily News, the annual Manhattan-henge event will take
place tonight when the sun sets at 8.17 pm. Viewers will be
treated to a spectacular view of the buildings on the West Side of
Manhattan lined up perfectly in a row as the sun sets below the
horizon.
Unfortunately, I've got a ton of stuff to do, and I don't have the luxury of hanging out at 8 pm in Manhattan. :(
If you do decide to view this event, the best spots, according to the
Daily News writer, Paul H.B. Shin, are 14th, 23rd, 34th, and 42nd
streets.
