This week Dell issued a press release
announcing their acquisition of Alienware, the well-respected
gamer
pc's maker. This is probably disappointing to those who don't
like Dell and their technical support. While Dell promised to
keep Alienware as a stand alone subsidiary, it's possible that
eventually areas like sales and technical support will be merged.
