It's about time we have one of these. The National Weather Service
issued a heat advisory for the NYC area for 1 pm to 7 pm EDT on Monday.
The temperature will be in mid-to-upper 90s, but the heat index
will climb to 100 and 104 degrees between 2 and 5 pm. Yikes!
Remember to drink plenty of water, and try to avoid strenuous physical activities during the late afternoon.
