If you're like me, you probably didn't realize Sales Tax Free Week is here again.
Previously the City had eliminated its sales tax on purchases
of clothing under $110. New York State has designated certain
weeks during the year for elimination of the state's 4.375% sales tax.
For this week through Sunday, NYS will match the city's 0%
sales tax on these purchases.
So be sure to check the daily papers for bargains! And I hope
you paid off your credit cards, because you'll need them!
