Last week, Mayor Mike Bloomberg and NYC
& Company kicked off the annual Paint the Town
program. To promote NYC tourism during the winter, this
program
offers discounts for shows, hotels, restaurants, etc. for visitors who
use an American Express card and show
their Paint the Town Savings Card.
It's a great way for the City to drum up business after the
holiday season (a traditionally slow time for businesses, I might add).
Unfortunately, not everyone has an Am Ex card (myself
included),
and so non-holders will miss out on these savings.
